What to do when things are beyond your control.  As of lately, I have had my fair share.  Maybe a bit more than my fair share...But in the end, this is my conclusion.

1.  Know your limits

2.  Be aware of what your body is telling you
ex. headaches, tired, grumpy, lethargic, achy stomach)

3.  Stop: Breathe:Listen

I didn't do any of these things over the last year.  My body was feeling wiped out, drained and run down.  I felt empty, alone, isolated, and didn't know how or where to reach out for help.  In the end..
The above 3 things became my daily go to questions.

1. Can I fix or improve this situation? If yes, do what you can within reason..
If no, talk to whomever is involved and let them know, you can't help them, not because you don't want to , but because you don't have the resources to properly make things better.

2.  Why am I waking up sick, tight jaw, headache, can't eat because I want to throw up immediately?
Time to back off, and do some extreme, radical self care.  Show up for yourself!

3.  If your feeling overwhelmed and out of control yourself because of a situation..
Stop engaging immediately
Give yourself some serious breathing space
Listen to what your heart and soul is telling you

(If it's telling you, enough is enough...I can't do this anymore cut your losses, reach out for support, get your strength back and make healthy YOU choices when you are in a better physical, and emotional place to do so!)
