a little project on love:

day 6 self mentoring with Kindnessville

i'm slowly....no really slowly learning about process. and in today's assignment about love, what we love about life, others, things and ourselves.

i created this digital collage of all the wonderful things & folks in my life. with one word, i attempted to describe how they resonate with me, what impact they play in my life.

when i was all done, it came out not bad considering i'm not a digital/marketing diva.

but.....

in the very top left hand corner, i forgot ME!

where all love begins. inside ourselves. i didn't describe my own self love. and then the more I begin the process of thinking, and over-thinking, the more challenging it became.

why is it, it's so damn easy to love others, places, things, but so challenging to find the genuine loving center in ourselves???

i am happy to say, i didn't find a one word description, because my center is filled with an abundance of energy that ripples out the many aspects of love. i did though see how resistance kicks in, negative self talk begins to work, and that we are easy to forget ourselves in life, much like i started to in my own project.

practicing, seeing, calling out, and squishing resistance and self judgement is a work in progress, and i am thrilled to be on that journey!!
